We are looking for a Quality Manager who will responsible for overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System. (QMS)

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
  2. Organizes and manages quality assurance function in close cooperation with the customers and with the Management Team (Member of Management Team)
  3. Development and maintenance of the Quality Management System
  4. Provides leadership, mentoring and supervision of the Quality Assurance Departments
  5. Provides technical and process direction to department employees
  6. Evaluates employees through performance reviews, ongoing coaching and feedback methods
  7. Analyzes and resolves, or assist workers in solving work problems
  8. Coordinates and manages corrective action and continuous improvement projects across multi-functional teams
  9. Analyzes failures and implements corrective and preventative action to respond to customer complaints
  10. Creates and maintains company quality documentation, such as quality procedures, work instructions, etc
  11. Effectively interacts with Production and Engineering teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products
  12. Establishes quality requirements from external suppliers
  13. Ensures compliance with national and international standards and legislation
  14. Manages all internal quality audit activities
  15. Liaises with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications
  16. Monitors performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  17. Identifies relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training
  18. Collate and analyzes performance data and charts against defined parameters
  19. Ensures tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary
  20. Writes technical and management systems reports
  21. Brings together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures
  22. Manages and maintains the quality inspection and product release programs for in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods
  23. Formulates and manages the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC
  24. Sets QA compliance objectives and ensures that targets are achieved
  25. Maintains awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues
  26. Assesses the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and compares with customer requirements

Minimum Qualification Required:

  • Associates Degree or (5) years’ experience in management – rubber molding industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment (rubber components preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • CQE or CQM preferred
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Sound knowledge of GD&T, FMEA, DOE, GR&R activities
  • Sound knowledge of TS16949/AS9100/ISO14001 quality systems
  • ISO 13485 medical and ISO 14001 Environmental
